Collecting donations for the Nehemiah Wall
Serve Lehigh Valley and Riverbend Community Church are teaming up to support The Nehemiah Wall, right here in Bethlehem. The Nehemiah Wall is a transitional home for women and children with life-controlling problems (addiction, incarceration, abuse, etc.). Their mission is to provide a secure home where women will be elevated to the level of person-hood. They encourage and teach women how they can obtain a full-time job and maintain a steady home, how to obtain a personal bank account and maintain a good budget, help secure their own housing, and learn to live and function in a society that may be unfamiliar to them. This ministry runs out of an old house with eight bedrooms that can be used by the women and children who come here.
During Serve, we will be painting, replacing doorknobs, and helping to create an updated and homey feel for these families.
We would like to invite Riverbend to provide donations for the ministry. The are seeking things like bedding, towels, paper products, hygiene products, cleaning items, kitchen items and more! To see a full list of items needed, pleaseclick here.

Father's Day
This Father’s Day, we’re inviting you into something meaningful and memorable. We’ll have the unique opportunity to hear from Coach Brett Reed and his son, Brendon Reed, as they share their story—offering an honest look at leadership, legacy, faith, and the relationship between a father and son.
Whether you’re a dad, a mentor, a young man, or simply someone shaped by the influence of others, this conversation will speak to the kind of impact that lasts. It’s a chance to be encouraged, challenged, and reminded that what we build into others—especially in our families—matters deeply.
Bring the men in your life and come expectant. This could be a moment that strengthens relationships, inspires growth, and calls each of us to live with greater purpose.

While this is a "women only" experience, some women have brought children in strollers. If bringing along a child makes the walk possible, please feel free to do that. People generally don't bring pets. Dress for the weather. If it's not raining and the sidewalks are traversable, we'll walk. It's helpful to let the organizer know your intentions to walk so that we don't head out without you. But it is not required to register or RSVP.
