Baptism
We will be having baptisms on Sunday, January 11th during the Gathering. If you are ready to be baptized, you can fill out an application HERE.
The Climb Youth Ministry
The Climb Youth Group’s aim is to be a place for Middle and High School aged students to be able to meet and gather at the church, to grow with one another, have meaningful connections with leaders, and seek to know God in a deeper way.
We meet once a month following a Sunday gathering from 12:30-2:30 PM. At these gatherings, we have lunch together, have a time of digging into our faith and God's word with a time of teaching and discussion, and of course play some outlandish games to get to know one another.
Women's get together
All adult women are welcome to come for a time of fellowship. Enjoy food, community and a short devotional.
Child Dedication
Child dedications are an opportunity for parents to commit themselves to raising their child or children in the ways of the Lord - and for the Riverbend Church Community to commit to loving, supporting and walking with you and your family on this journey. It is through your example and the church community that these young children get a clearer picture of who Jesus is.
If you would like to dedicate your child, please fill out a form HERE.
Women's Spring Bible Study
The ladies of Riverbend are invited to the spring women’s Bible Study. It will take place on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of month beginning January 28th. The study topic will be announced soon.
Women's Walk
The women's walk and talk happens on the first Saturday of the month. Women of all ages and abilities gather at 8:50 a.m. in the church parking lot. Participants will depart the lot for an hour-long walk in the city at 9 a.m. The walk will conclude back at the parking lot at 10 a.m. While exercise is one of the benefits of the walk, it is not the primary goal. The primary goal is to have conversation and to connect with one another. Getting steps in and gaining an awareness of the community around our church are additional benefits.
While this is a "women only" experience, some women have brought children in strollers. If bringing along a child makes the walk possible, please feel free to do that. People generally don't bring pets. Dress for the weather. If it's not raining and the sidewalks are traversable, we'll walk. It's helpful to let the organizer know your intentions to walk so that we don't head out without you. But it is not required to register or RSVP.
