Meet & Greet is an event designed to allow newcomers to meet some key leaders within our community, hear about our story and learn about specific ways to further connect with the Riverbend community.

Meet & Greets occur between our Gatherings at 10:15am.

This fall, we’re bringing together the East and West Men’s Breakfast tables for one evening of food, fellowship, and celebrating all God has done in our community.

Join us Friday, October 2 from 5:30–10:00 PM at Steve Klase’s home. Families are welcome! Hot dogs and buns will be provided, and we’re asking everyone to bring a favorite food or snack to share. We’ll have yard games, plenty of time to connect, and just enjoy being together.

Join the ladies of Riverbend for our 3rd annual retreat to Camp Orchard Hill in Dallas, PA for the Alive Women’s Retreat. Enjoy a weekend of rest, spiritual refreshment, deep friendships and wonderful food…with the perfect touch of outdoor adventure! 

The speaker this year is Laura Gaines. She will be speaking on Known and Loved: Embracing Your God-Given Identity.

The women's walk and talk happens on the first Saturday of the month. Women of all ages and abilities gather at 8:50 a.m. in the church parking lot. Participants will depart the lot for an hour-long walk in the city at 9 a.m.. The walk will conclude back at the parking lot at 10 a.m. While exercise is one of the benefits of the walk, it is not the primary goal. The primary goal is to have conversation and to connect with one another. Getting steps in and gaining an awareness of the community around our church are additional benefits.

The worship team is looking to continue growing our worship ministry. Worship tryouts will be held on Tuesday, October 6th from 6:30-8:00 pm. The Open Table will be hosting a Costume Party Friday October 9th from 6:30-9:00pm. The Open Table is a monthly social for adults with special needs. The event is always looking for volunteers to help with set up and clean up - as well as volunteers to just hang and have a fun time with our guests. We also are in need of snack and baked good donations for the event.
